Bifrost Edge AS

About Bifrost EDGE

Bifrost EDGE is a Nordic, vertically integrated data center platform delivering sustainable, industrial-scale AI and HPC infrastructure. Our ambition is to be the Nordic leader in sustainable, next-generation data centers – setting new global standards for minimal environmental impact and maximum local community value. The team brings a track record of prioritising sustainability and local investments in previous data center projects and is committed driving even greater impact with Bifrost EDGE.

Sustainability at our core

Bifrost EDGE is building the next generation of AI and HPC data centers with sustainability embedded at the core of everything we do.

From site origination to operations – we aim to set new global standards for minimal environmental impact of data centers.

We strategically locate and design our infrastructure to harness Nordic's green power and use low-carbon, decentralised power generation and/or energy storage to complement where appropriate.

Our design, procurement, construction, and operations model is optimised for systemic efficiency – minimising carbon, power, water, materials and land use, while helping to accelerate the global energy transition.

We don't settle – we invite challenge, embrace innovation, and work with partners to make every project better than the last

Local community value creation

Bifrost EDGE strengthens local economies through job creation, local procurement, local ownership models, infrastructure investment, and long-term operations.

We work closely with municipalities and regional energy partners to ensure our developments create shared value, minimise the stress on power grids and align with local climate and energy plans. Measures include on-site generation and storage, load optimisation, grid-aware design and industrial-scale heat reuse where possible.

Across previous projects, our team has delivered and demonstrated our commitment to local communities through outsized investment, meaningful job creation, and long-term regional partnerships.
